“Wedges” is a new design for a bed runner, table runner or placemats in our popular “Press & Stitch” technique. This quilt-as-you-go method uses double-sided fusible batting for an easy and efficient construction. Most of our other patterns in this technique feature curvy shapes in combination with bias strips. Here we have chosen skinny wedge shapes with straight cut fabric strips to cover the raw fabric edges. It’s that easy! This pattern would make a great demo or technique class. Kits for placemats or the table runner use six or eight fat quarters whereas the bed runner uses 1/3 yd cuts of eight fabrics. |
