This classic red and green block can be updated by the use of more current fabrics, such as batiks. Use your favourite method to make circles, and try your hand at the optional reverse appliqué. While instructions are provided for hand appliqué, this pattern can be easily adapted to machine appliqué. Instructions are for 2 and 4 squares. Full-size drawing included. |
